Labour is the party most trusted to deal with the recession, according to a new poll.
"The Populus survery for the Times gives Gordon Brown's party a nine point lead over the Conservatives.
Voters prefer the Prime Minister and Alistair Darling to David Cameron and shadow chancellor George Osborne by 40% to 31% on the economy - a six point increase since the pre-Budget Report on 24 November."
They say a fool and his money are soon parted...Clown's gonna rob you blind!

I've only ever been wrong once! and that was when I thought I was wrong but I was right0 -
...or maybe they just consider a different set of criteria when assessing ability to handle the economy...?0

Probably says more about Cameron than Brown 'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0

Like what?, Brown/Darling can barely add up/take away. The fact that they do not accept even the smallest responsibility for our current plight says a lot about their character, they are useless frauds.0 -

Exactly...... Possibly better the devil you know. We all know what they are like but look at Cameron he is a man out of his depth the Woolworths of politics doesn't know what he stands for or where he is going. Can't even conduct himself properly when riding a push bike across London. Is he old enough to drive yet ????????
I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left. :rolleyes:0 -

very, very true.
the country has economic problems that are the biggest ever but yet Cameron cannot progress further away from Brown but instead continually rambles on about the Tory Shadow Minister being arrested and that poor baby P who was killed by his mother and her boyfriend. don't get me wrong these are important issues but he concentrates too much and too long on the wrong issues at hand.0 -
I'm quite intrigued by the remaining 29%. Was that the result for Vince Cable? If so that would be pretty good for them and close to the tories. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I think people think cameron and osbourne wouldn't have any balls in the situation we are in. Where they will win back support is if these policies fail us as many predict. I don't think it's to do with lies and not accepting responsibility because we unfortunately have come to expect that from both cons and labour over the years. It's sad but we don't expect truth to particularly figure. If we did I would expect cable to be drawing a big vote.0
