hi if a wife is in debt and cant pay her debts credit cards and bank charges for being over drawn does her husband have to pay them by law or not thanks.

Only if they are in joint names.If not the husband has no involvement in the debts.It may differ slightly on secured debts on a joint owned home though.Onwards and Upwards
