No hooks or eyes or fastenings!

I think the description they use is "double gusset" - ie there are two pieces of fabric *downstairs* which aren't stitched together but overlap each other - each bit comes maybe 2/3 of the way across so they overlap in the middle.

It's hard to describe!! basically you're covered up when you are in normal positions, and when you go to the bathroom you just have to sit with your legs a little further apart than normal:o

I got trinny and susanna 'fat pants'. Unfortunatly they are all in ones, but I don't drink so no rolling on the floor to have a wee. I wear normal pants under them to avoid the cystitis (synthetic material so close to your bits is not good). And they tuck under my bra or else they roll down, which is really funny, like a magic trick 'I can make a spare tyre appear outa thin air!'

They are great for things like jeans and a skinny top (wear a little vest top under your spangly top if it's short or it will ride up and show off your fat pants). With my shape (saggy mummy belly) they don't work under dresses so well. But they give me an awesome !!!!!cat dolls look in jeans :T (and no camel toe!) LOL!!!

And also the 'putting on of the fat pants' is an aerobic workout in itself. They should make it into a workout DVD 'one leg in, upto your knee, other one now, careful you dont fall, grab them and jump! Jump! Jump!!'

You forgot the not-so-sexy taking off - definitely not one for intimate moments or passionate clinches!

p.s. - the spanx gusset is cotton I'm pretty sure - I tried the Trinny and Susannah ones and they drove me nuts! Schedule half an hour for a loo break!:rotfl:
  • lol this thread reminded me of an 'incident' with magic pants where it took me quite literally 15 mins to get them back on after going to the loo..... alcohol may have been involved!! i haven't worn them since!
    :happyhear
  • Lol, do they do some for fat thighs an all? May have to invest in a pair, my weight's shot up!

eyelinerprincess - most spanx are the cycle shorts type length which are perfect for thighs and some of them go up to your waist, or some finish just under your boobs.

I wish they did a toe to neck one - I'd be the first in the queue! :rotfl: :rotfl:
  • Good. I hate my legs, tho OH doesn't think there's anything wrong with them! Ah they can be sweet sometimes...

    Well, that as well! :rotfl:

    Ok, I have to ask:

Do you put pants on top of them? You surely aren't supposed to leave your bits open to the elements are you?

Loving this thread, very funny, I nearly spat my sandwich out! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
