I guess so! :p Mine will come down early next week I would think... not really got time until Tuesday or so. Certainly won't be up until the traditional take down day of 6th Jan!!!

Right, off to dry my hair and apply make-up now before we go to mum's. See you later/tomorrow.

Morning everyone, well oh os talking about seeing parent mmnn not looking forward to that, MIL has never liked me, even though we have been married for 15 years and produce a daughter which she adores, I will be sitting there biting my lip, to make sure I dont say anything which will start a row, he even says she can be difficult but I suppose I should make the effort even though we spent yesterday at my parents, which was fine! Oh well better get on with the 31st comps.
I hope everyone has a good day, my dd was delighted with her laptop, loaded her sims games on it already. Glad as it was nearly £500!

Haha, a girl after my own heart :rotfl: I'm so not a decorations person lol

Hi everyone, sounds like most of you had lovely pressies, we had a really nice day in the end despite my reserves beforehand and the power cut in the morning. Mostly thanks to my surprise Wii DH bought me Tuesday and my DD's (out of character) efforts to make it a nice family day for me! She brought in her Guitar Hero to go on my new Wii and the 4 of us played it for 6 hours!! lol it was fun and really nice, DS and DH did get through a whole bottle of my Jameson's Whiskey prize mind you and you should have see DH on the Wii sports late last night! PMSL!!

    Happy Boxing Day everyone xx

    Happy Boxing Day everyone :D

I got well and truly spoiled by Santa this year (well, by OH, my Mam, my brother and my lovely friend Natalie!)

    Off OH:

A cartridge that goes in my Nintendo DS that I can download any game to off the t'interwebs :T I've only had brain training game since I got my DS in March so was a bit bored!
Also, the Gavin and Stacey book and The Mighty Boosh Book :T

    Off Mam:

£80 Asda voucher (ordered to be spent on clothes and other goodies for me and NOT on food! Booze wasn't mentioned though  :rotfl:)
    Gucci Rush 2 perfume
    Scarf & Gloves
    2009 Diary

    Off brother:

Lego Indiana Jones and Lego Batman for Xbox 360 (he gave one to me and one to OH, which was nice for OH to have things to open at my mam's house though she always gets him something, she won't have anyone with nothing to open on Xmas day!)

And my friend got me a pair of pretty canvas shoes and some smellies :T

OH's family also sent me lots of wine but I don't drink it  he said he's gonna tell them all to buy me Archers next year :rotfl:

Didn't have a single alcoholic drink yesterday, was shattered after dinner at Mam's but stepdad gave us a lift home then I woke up! Was up til midnight watching xmas soaps and xmas specials of gavin and stacey, royle family etc ... I love Xmas telly :T and have had 10 hours sleep so feel fab today :T off to a party with OH's family tonight but have the whole day to relax (i.e. comp and play on my DS!!)
