Awwww thanks but I'm fine, honestly He asked me what I wanted and I said a puppy, haha!! Needless to say I didn't get one. But he did offer to get me something a couple of weeks back and I couldn't think of anything. Then Jamie dropped the bombshell about his job and rent being due so any spare cash went there. Kids said they'll get me one anyway for my birthday at end on Jan so I'm back on hoping alert again!!!!

TMK, feel sad for you but it sounds like there is a lot of love in the family and I am sure you got more than gifts sharing your day together. Glad you sound OK about it.

Finished comps ending 31/12 which took me about 5 days, so am really relieved. OH made me a vodka and cranberry concoction earlier and as I don't drink I'm now ready to call it a night - that's why I never touch alcohol, it just sends me off to sleep! Cheap date!!!

Hope all had a very peaceful Christmas and Bella had a lovely birthday. Sweet dreams everyone.

Thanks for that stressed Yep, that's it exactly And ditto the drink thing, haven;t for years but when I did, I'd get heartburn then fall asleep, all in the space of about 5 mins

Morning all... I see most of you are being better than me and not logging on! :)

Off to Kettering today to my mum and dads. My sister and her OH and my nan and grandad will be there too. I love boxing day, has always been "Christmas day" in my family. Will take an hour and a half to get there - not bad, they used to be 6 hours away!

Kids loved all their pressies!! Esp the bike/scooter and DVD's and Wii!!!
Spent loads on them this year!! They gave their dummies to Father Christmas in exchange!! (5 and 3!!)
I got a cookbook......end of list!! (Bit annoyed really cos even though its about the giving, I do still like to recieve (oo er missus lol) ) OH did give an IOU for a WiiFit, but I paid for the Wii!!! Oh well!!
Dd get other bits from my family etc but nothing much!! I spent ages sourcing items and packaging nicely etc - EDIT: Just read that back and sound like a right whinging minny!!

Yesterday wasn't that great!! OH and me had a silly row which made us late for my mums buffet, so then she was digging all day about spolit food etc etc, OH wasn't offered a drink till about 2 hours in to the visit and he got spoke to twice by my mother!! Peed me off!! It was our situation and we've sorted it so why can't she let it go??!?!?!?!?!
Arranged a NYE house party for me and OH, a few friends, loads of beer and Wii games!! hehe!! Thatshould be fun, although kiddies wil be in bed asleep aboe us so can't be too loud!!!

Got a huge leg of Roast Lamb to cook today (2.398kgs!! How long will that take??!??!?!?! Arrrggghhh!!)
