Gamon and beef slow cooking in the oven,Turkey next (yup there are only the 4 of us but DD and I insist on Turkey and DS and DH prefer beef :rolleyes:) Does anyone cook their meat on the day? It seems most of us do it the day before and carve it cold.That ain't working! That's the way to do it, money for nothing and TV's for free

I could never cook the turkey and all the other bits (sausage meat, stuffing, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, roast parsnips) on the day, they'd never fit in the oven! Besides, I love the smell of the turkey cooking on Christmas eve.
