But the future has got to be good , I have been viewing the site since Nov 2005 ,getting tips and putting a plan togther , So i have just signed and posted back my budget sheets etc to CCCs and written of to all my creditors, As others have said MBNA are not v nice but i owe them money so i have to take it on the chin ( do shout a bit afterwards tho ) Thanks to the national debtline my wife and others on this site , Heres looking forward!! sure i will have questions soon, but thank god i can hopefully get this sorted asap and get on .

Has anyone had any luck ie tactics with these cheeky chappies? Just being as nice as pie at the mo . Dont think there is anything else to do !! Have now started asking for names etc and taking notes when they call .

I think you're taking the best approach for the moment murphy2, although i think if it all gets too much you can ask for all communication to you to be in writing so you're not getting hassled on the phone. I think your firm but polite approach should have them giving up on you soon enough.

OMFG!!!! I do not bank with MBNA and never will after the hell stories i've read on this board!!! Harassing people even at work....Jeeeeeeeeees....just tell them to sod off and you'll only communicate with them in writing. If they continue to hassel you threaten them with legal action or something...

    They make my blood boil!!!
