Advice Urgently Required

I have recently been in dispute with my Bank. I have complained directly, then to the FOS and finally to my MP. I have eventually reached a point where my bank has accepted some responsibility. They offered me £75 compensation. I rejected this and they have written back to me offering £200. I asked for £500. Should I take the money or hold out? They say its their final offer. If ANYONE recieved a bank charge from HBOS during late October or Early Novemeber 2007 I need to speak with you urgently. If the same thing happened on your account as has happened to mine you need to write to them.

Hard to say.
I guess the question to ask yourself is:
Could you live without the £200 been offered? Do you urgently need this money?
If not/yes then accept!
If yes/no then what have you got to lose!
But thats my option, ULTIMATELY ITS UP TO YOU
Good Luck, but get professional advice. I am not telling you what to do!!Debt Free since March 2008

You said the bank accepted some responsibility. Does this mean you accept some responsibility?
£75 to £200 is a big jump and one I very much doubt they'll increase without a fight.
The charges you got in relation to this period does it add up too £500 which is your claim or is it less and you want the difference for compensation?Proudly Banking & Saving With:

If this is compensation (as opposed to refund of fees you, at least in part, appear responsible for incurring,) then you're just being greedy. Unless you honestly spent a total of (say) 50 hours sorting it out.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
