Word Help Please!

I am trying to format a Word document which is a series of bullet pointed sentences & paragraphs. I have managed to get all over the paragraphs aligned using format painter. However there is one paragraph were the first sentence is in correct alignment but the second sentence will not move. I've tried everything I can think of. Please can anyone suggest a solution?

You probably had set "format -> paragraph , indentation/special" to either 'first line' or hanging'

You can fiddle with the markers on the ruler too.

Here's a suggestion when the formatting of some text is playing up:

Cut the offending section and then paste it back in using the 'Edit>Paste Special> Unformatted text' function.

I use it all the time when copying and pasting from the web.
