This is a great tv, i got mine from richer sounds a few months ago and still love it, as someone has already mentioned its not a 1080p set however unless you spend all your life playing a PS3 or watching blu ray it will make no difference, as sky hd does'nt broadcast in 1080p.
Its a monster of a set and kicks out some heat but I cant imagine ever having a smaller tv now, couple of minor flaws the piano black foot and surround attracts dust like nothing else on earth, and the sound can be seriously lacking.
all the best
the bearLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -

Our samsung 50 inch plasma is a year old now and (touch wood) we cant fault it. As previous poster said, it is sometimes left on all night with sky titles at the bottom and hasn't shown any screen burn or image retention, there are settings on this which combat that anyway. Only problem we have with it are the remotes arrggghhh as we have the samsung surround sound the remotes are exactly the same, we still havent read the manuals we are probably only using 50% of the features. Also, yes, it does give off some heat too, and looks fab with the free dvd of open fire scene that we got in our matter box!! Good luck!!:heart2::heart2::heart2: I LOVE MY BEAGLE! :heart2::heart2::heart2:0

Is a brilliant stand and really sets off the TV.
Actually it isn't quite that stand as the one I have only has 2 shelves.
