Spam email from myself??

It's not really bothering me because it goes straight into my junk box but how are companies (you know the viagara ones) sending me emails which are seemingly from myself? The from line is definitely my own email address!!

It's not from you they spoof the address so it looks like it's from you. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it

They aren't, it is your other personality trying to tell you something....

nah....spoofed from address, happens all the time, to everyone, ignore it

Hmmm - I did wonder if I was emailing myself in my sleep but figured that I'd be telling myself much more interesting stuff!!

what bugs me, i get them from wife and son, our email is for business use so we cant block from our own domain. or can we

just set up filters for obvious words, though it doesnt' stop the graphic only ones
