B&B internet saver-watch out !

B&B are being a little bit canny with their E savings rates.

The latest one, issue 6 has info as follows,,

http://www.bradford-bingley.co.uk/savings/esavings-issue6.asp

Unfortunately if you already have an esavings account, they do not actually tell you in their login info what the rate is.

I checked mine which i signed up for not that long ago and the rate quote was 3.49% gross which aligns roughly with the latest interest payment and it could well get cut again.

If you have an esaver with B&B you would be well advised to ring and check the rate against your account number.

You might be unpleasantly surprised.

  • Strange, my wife gets an email with the rates when they change, they are very quick to go down after a rate cut, and pretty poor as well!

Yes. The emails come quicker than spam to your inbox telling you about yet another rate cut.
