Not quite as sensational as that carol.
Welcome back, but draw the claws in please.

I've not thought too deeply about the tenants register, but off the top of my head, I would believe that registered tenants would be preferential to landlords. Landlords godd add a reference, data about on time rent payments, cleanliness / condition of property left in etc etc etc

I'd be all for a similar register for LL's i.e. was deposit repaid?
    Was it in full?
are you in agreement with the deposit return?
    How quickly was it returned?
How quickly did the LL respond to any issues?

    etc etc etc

Good LL's and tenants have nothing to hide.

    Agreed.

No claws intended! Just my natural style, I'm afraid. How are you doing?

  • When is Miss / Master ISTL due to put in an appearance?
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

Master ISTL :T :T :T is due to make a formal appearance early March.

  • Very best of luck to Mrs ISTL for an easy pregnancy and delivery.

Have you chosen Master ISTL's name yet?

We have a name that we think suits, but have not formally sat down and reviewed them all

Thanks for the kind wishes for Mrs ISTL. I'll pass them on.
She would say she is also hopefull due to her choosing me because of my thin head ;)

    Anyway, back to topic.
the thread is about Landlords needing to be reasonable:D

I'm fine, though spnding rather more time at home today than I had planned, owing to DD2 spending ore time today than she had planned with her head down the toilet

Sincerely hope no-one else is suffering from nasty sicky bugs - little one picked it up at nursery and kindly donated it to his family. I have (yet) to succumb. But not very hopeful.

We're getting a voluntary version here in Wales http://www.welshlandlords.org.uk/. I'd prefer the Scottish compulsorary system, but this is better than nothing. I'm signed up for the first course in my area.
First I've heard about it. Obviously there has to be a first... and that was just it.
