Secret Santa advice needed!

At work we have agreed to play secret santa, but I am the worlds worst person to choose an appropriate present. We have drawn our tickets and I have to buy a present for the person I feel the most tricky to buy for. She's in her later 30s so does any one have any suggestions what to buy for £5?

I may be one of the only people that would send 'smellies' to the charity shop because I can't use them.

I have to be careful as some things bring me out in a rash but also we don't have a bath... just a shower!

I buy hypoallergenic products but I am ok with Body Shop White Musk so maybe Santa will bring me some.

This hasn't helped with what you could actually buy but maybe whatever you do buy you could put a 'gift receipt' in with it.

I always find a nice diary or pen is a good option (but I'm in my 40's so a bit older!)

I'm a big lush fan but they are packaging the gifts with popcorn inside now and not wrapping the soap etc so not as nice as before sadly :(

As suggested aove Lush are nice, as are body shop - there are some nice gift sets with up to 30% off on there at the mo - don't forget Quidco, and there's an extra 10% off code there too.

Thorntons are always welcome - if you want to make it funny you could always buy a kiddies selection box or a couple of the christmas characters - otherwise a simple box of chocs is lovely :-)

Play etc. have a good selection of USB type gadgets for plugging into computers if she's working on one - there are some funny bits there.

We had a secret santa the other day, max £5 spend, between a group of late thirty something hard to buy for ladies, and the pressies included:

    A funny calendar
A beautiful metal bookmark with a beaded butterfly end
    A chip and dip plate
A sequined evening purse with a half bottle of wine inside it
    A box of thorntons chocolates
    An M&S smellies gift set

  • Look in Hawkins Bazaar if you have one close to you - if I don't know what to get someone I get something really silly and there's plenty of stuff in there!

what about a nice set of candles and or tea light holders, most people like/use candles, look in BHS they had some fab ones last year and were half price so a £5 spent looks very expensive. HTH x
