  • Unwashed scum. We live in a great country with free speech, and I love that, but anyone who thinks they have the right to disrupt thousands of innocent people trying to go on holiday / business / meet friends or relatives deserves to be run over by a plane. There are ways and means of doing things, and these idiots will soon realise this kind of thing does not get the general public on their side!

they should have moved that stockade thing they were chained up to into the check in area today, and every day this sort of thing happens, just to let them know what the public thinks and let them have a chat with them, instead of creeping about in the middle of the night.

the gutless morons wouldn't have the nerve to face the public with their views face to face

I like to idea mutted on the radio yesterday, airlines and passengers sue each protester and the organisation for the money they have lost.

Once they have backrupted them or they can't pay get them doing community service (in the new mandatory high viz jackets) work that helps the environment - collecting cows fa*rts (that generates more greenhouse gas than the cars in the UK).:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Id much rather see them thrown into a room full off all the passengers who were effected. Lets see them explain away their cause then.

thats the beauty of the internet, you can soon find out who the unwashed scum are , hear them talk and watch previous videos of other epsiodes.

from what i can see there are dozens of these green/hippy/tree huggy action groups and the nutters are probably connected in someway to them all, this plane stupid one must be top of the pops at the moment, it gets you instant media fame and a purpose in life instead of working or worrying about being still an art student in your thirties.

i expect most of the so called "youngsters" have dropped out of society and have a chip on their shoulder , or 40 somethings in a mid lfe crisis.

plane stupid is proud to be run along the same lines as the 90's action group, "stop the roads", thank god these nutters never actually achieve anything
  • Names in the paper this morning, can any of our legal eagles explain how to claim from these idiots, might the ambulance chasers be worth a go.

Don't get me wrong, I hate the Daily Mail, and in many ways am feeding an angry pack of wolves, but this story brings a smile to my face!

I especially liked this bit, about one of their top acivists, former public-schoolgirl Katrina Forrester, who FLEW from Heathrow to attend an airport protest in New York...

A source at Plane Stupid said: 'Katrina is doing proper networking, travelling around the universities of America trying to get support. She probably should have taken the boat, but the boat cost £4,000 and the plane was so cheap.'

    She also said....

'I want to see New York before I'm charged with something and can't ever go again.'

    Talk about double standards!

See tpday's Guardian. George Monbiot makes the point that the protesters understand the severity of global warming far better than do our so-called leaders.

I am glad that they were protesting, but I think they could have found a better way to get their message across
