0% balance transfer as a student?

Hello

I currently have a 0% balance transfer card. i am a tart (never admitted to that before!) and this is my second. However, when applying for my last two I was in full time employment. Now I am a full time and very broke student with no formal income (i earn cash babysitting and through a student loan).

Am I likely to get an introductory 0% transfer offer if I apply? I don't mind about the purchases % or the % after the offer runs out as I will switch again, I just really need the balance transfer 0%.

What do you think? I don't want to apply and be turned down in case it affects my credit rating. Any advice?

Thanks in advance folks

I got an egg card 0% deal when I was a student. Also try the bank that you bank with and see if they can offer you any deals.

    Good Luck

I personally had about 4 credit cards as a student, (paying a high rate and getting ripped off!) had no problems getting them although I did work part time. Maybe ring the credit card company ask for the applications department and they will give you an idea as to whether or not it is worth you applying.
