I have an ISA with HL and yet when I try to open a fund account they are lookig for ID - has anyone else had this problem?

Why are you trying to open a fund account when you already have an ISA? Or have you filled it up already?0 -
ISA is filled, and with the way interest rates are going.....
I tried to sign up on line and it asked me to send ID. I queried this by email and I got some bull**** that because ISA was limited to £7200 a check wasn't required, but since you could put any amount into a fund a check was required. I find it really hard to believe they did not check my credentials before opening my ISA.Noobie (not so) trying to make loads a dosh - please bear with all my questions :beer: Thanks 0
