Evening all...WOW....what a day....where do I start?.....This is the first chance I've had to sit down all day!!!!!....
Firstly, got up to go to work but both dogs had a tummy bug(will leave it to the imagination)...so had to go to the vets and one has had injection and antibiotics and the other antibiotics....so couldn't go to work and won't be able to as need to stay here as they need the toilet loads.
So decided I might as well make myself useful while DH was in bed so cleaned and sorted every kitchen cupboard....
Then I decided to sort all my paperwork out(the massive pile shoved in the corner of the lounge) so that is now shredded/recycled/filed....the shredder gave up the ghost halfway through...so off to Tesco I went and bought another...came back and 1 dog had had a accident by the back door....
Then I cleaned that up and pulled the filing cabinet out...cleaned the skirting boards, windowsill, dado rail etc in that part of the room....then hoovered all of downstairs.....
Now I'm knackered and my backs aching!!!
Going to do the DGS toy corner tomorrow and have bought 2 toyboxes tonight £4.65 each in Mr T reduced from £20 each....bargain...so have those to build yet!!!!
Need to spring clean all the house before wednesday as somebody from the insurance is coming to see DH wednesday and they can't come in this hovel!!!!
    Hope everyone is ok.
  • Good grief Taxi, i think spring is in the air, everyone is turning over the house and cleaning.
I bet you feel good though.

Wow, taxi, thats a lot!!! I've been slowly going at my kitchen like that, and a couple of days ago I cleaned down the tiles in the bathroom, which felt a *lot* better. Good for you - have fun with the toy corner today!
