Hi all and thanks for the welcome back...there really isn't a lot to say about the holiday really. We had four days of rain and winds in the middle of the holiday...it was really cold ..can you believe it?.....there were too many noisy young americans and canadians at the hotel as well....but we've had a break and relaxed and I'm now back with a vengeance....
On the debtbusting front...I have £700 of holiday money left...I have DHs comp so will be able to pay a good chunk off one of the CC cards.
I have transferred £3800 from my mortgage account to pay my tax bill..there will be a couple of hundred left over so that can go towards my CC as well...
I have enough in the bank to cover the car loan tomorrow and the subs cheque...
So all is well...I need to do a food shop, fill the car,get dog food and I think I need a new tyre or two on the car...so that's tomorrows jobs...
We need to earn the money for the end/beginning of the month bills but I do have a £1500 0% O/D to use if needs be...so will get there.

Hi all...hope you are all ok today.....have been really busy today(after only getting up at 12.30).....
Done loads of washing and drying(and still loads to do)....went to tyre place but didn't need any as got at least 3000 miles left on them...did a big shop...£143(we needed everything)....did a pet shop as needed dog food, bones etc....and toys for Tess as she destroyed everyone of those in the house along with a tens machine, mobile phone charger, umbrella, box of tampax, jjs toys ,a very expensive shoe etc etc....think she had anxiety separation as it's common in Rotties....she was really naughty while we were away..lol...so got her a weighted dumb bell and activity ball as well as bones ...so another £60 spent.
Set up (I hope correctly) a transfer from DHs account to mine for his compo money so that I can pay it off my CC...it didn't allow it to go faster payment though!!!...I think the mortgage money has arrived in my account so can pay the tax bills tomorrow...
Need to go to bank tomorrow to deposit the left over money ..then I can pay it off CC....
Another loan came out today so I'm now in the £36ks....will be nice to be in the £20ks though!!!!
    Nothing else going on here.

Youve certainly hit the ground running Taxi! Bet the dog was made up to see you back home. We used to have a rottie living next door to us - daft as a brush but absolutley massive!

Yeay for being in the 36's! x x

Thats what I am doing too Taxi - finances are as good as they can be at the minute and have made a good start on the weight loss but there is still loads of things I want to change/improve but this year I have decided instead of just talking about it to make a real good go of it! My big one is to quit smoking but in a weird way I dont want to because I am scared of failing - need to change that mindset first! x x
