  • Hi Taxi,

Just read your posts; what a huge lot of carp you've been through just lately.

Mega hugs to you, hope that it gets sorted soon.

Thanks all...no point in having any more stress dealing with it.She's safe now and has somewhere else to live so pretty sorted. She's moved in now.DS is feeling loads better as well.

Sky came today and installed the new dish and all the wiring. The card didn't work so he phoned them and they said the cards are on their way....when they come all I've got to do is phone the firm back(the installers were a local firm and I've got their direct number) and they'll pair the boxes up.An ex BT engineer is coming tomorrow to move my main telephone socket and to install two new ones in the bedroom...so perhaps the job will be done soon.

DH got a new CC this morning with £9500 limit so this months american express is getting transferred to that..I usually pay that in full each month but as it's a large balance I've transferred it and then it can start from afresh as I put all my fuel etc on it and with all the hassle haven't worked much the last few weeks.
    That's about it from me.

Thats brilliant re the sky box, and the phone sockets, we had new phone sockets last yr, the original wiring was 30yrs old..... and was just holding a broadband signature.

When we had our socket fitted, they fitted them on the outside walls, we had 3new sockets, rewiring, ours was £100.

Seems things are turning around at last, dd sorted, ur ds getting better, and hubbys credit card, takes some of the pressure off.

    Hope work going ok. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Hi KC....the authorities are a real let down. They told her to keep a diary of the incidents all well and good but not a risk we could take...idiots the lot of them.

Keep asking them for a risk assessment when ever they start "suggesting" things.

Not over their heads - they ignored you. They don't want to think about things like that. Time they did.

Oh dear what a mare....Shelter are very good so may be worth phoning them and sols re scumbag landlord plus worth reporting him to housing dept as they are bound to know this bloke and there ARE laws against that kind of behavior!
Sorry to hear about sky...while they drive me up the wall am happy with ntl on the whole compared to sky from my last experience of them....
    hugs for you...
