Taxis Final Push!!!!

Right I'll let you know where we're up to.
The hole in the roof is fixed(thankfully as it has been peeing down).
The guttering has been replaced all around the house so no more leaks.
one bedroom has been plastered and fully decorated.
both downstairs rooms have been re-plastered,all under coating done and most walls had 2 coats of paint....we've had to stop and send a tin of paint back to Crown as it may be faulty....so we are awaiting the results of that.
DH now has an outside tap properly fitted with copper pipes.


That's the work done so far!!!!

Next job is loft is being boarded and hatch widend etc on weds and thursday this week...so that will help with the getting rid of crap situation.

Then we have to wait for the results of the paint tests before carrying on.

After that....it will be
strip bedroom and hallway stairs and landing
replaster bedroom and hallway stairs and landing
then redcorate those areas.
Next is move the boiler downstairs and fit one more rad and thermostaic valves
after that replace bathroom suite and have a shower cubicle installed in the place that the boiler is now..retile etc etc.
Then finally have an extension built onto the kitchen and new kitchen etc fitted

I haven't been to work for about 2 weeks as you can see I have been really busy.Work will be stopping for a few weeks as I save up for the next round of works so I'm expecting to be back at work by weekend.
We've cancelled our holiday for next year and I'm sure I need to update my sig.Obviously the debt busting isn't going as quick as I would've liked but I'd rather have a comfortable home.
I've transferred most of my virgin cc onto a 6.9% for life BT so am not under a load of pressure for that.I need to find my tax money as well but will think about that over the next few days.
Hope everyone is ok and I will catch up on all the diaries over the next few days.

phew good to have you back...funny how you worry for people youve never met...going great guns on the house! Sorry you had to cancel hol but at least house will be sorted and when you do go on hol you can enjoy it...re debt coming down if anyone can you can!

Sorry about the holiday, but sounds like the house is going great guns.
Thats brilliant news re credit card, at least it will ease some pressure and you will know where you are.

Don't be negative, you have come on great with ur debt repayments and a lot of us have massive respect for you and Mr Taxi, uve worked ur rears off to get it sorted, you've been through the mill one way and another.
YOU WILL GET THERE RE DEBTS, IF IT TAKES A COUPLE OF MONTHS EXTRA THAN SO BE IT.
