They are really good got my car from them all your DLA mobility allowance goes direct to them0 -
Also like to add if you are not allowed to drive yet from DVLA then you can still get one as a family member can apply on your behalf as it will be used for your needs.0

I am not sure I think you have to been granted dla for 3 years to be able to get a mobility car check here
Hope this helps.

its not strictly true about needing a 3 year award although it does say it on the site,
as long as you have a year to run on you award you can have the contract hire though the HP scheme you'd need an award for the full length of the contract http://www.motability.co.uk/main.cfm?Type=AIE
(though many people would be better off with other finanance than the HP such a s a cheap bank loan if you can get one).0 -

May I suggest that first you apply for your provisional licence, then use your DLA to pay towards the cost of the driving lessons. Once you've passed your test, then you could look at buying a car. It's not compulsory that the DLA award is used to buy a car from motability - it's there to help with the extra costs of getting around. So it could be used for taxi fares, etc. First things first, you need to find out if you are allowed to drive (and that could take some time) before you do anything else.s/e0 -

Good advice.
