Still Freezing Vista - Flashplayer prob?

I still have freezing screen when on websites - have found if I disable flashplayer problem goes away - but when I want to use it, flashplayer makes the problem come back - the adobe website is hard to follow, unable to get a response other than a link to a their tech support, who don't reply. Have tried deleting, reloading flashplayer, have latest 10 version - only disabling add-ons works - any suggestions please?
