Quick question abouy the £3.50 eBay voucher

I've just tried using the CUKHV3 (actually £3, not £3.50) voucher and it worked (even though I didn't get the email - so it's worth a try). Anyway, the thing I bought was only 99p, so I was wondering if I was to remove the code would I be able to use it towards something else so I can get the full amount?
