Sadly, sea, no weight lost at all!!! I thought I had lost 12 lbs, but it was just my scales playing silly teasing games with me  So I am still as heavy as ever - but plenty of people have said I have lost weight so it must show somewhere!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hypno, I'm absolutely sure you'll have toned up loads, you can't be doing what you're doing and *not* have toned - but its muscle in place of fat, so although you've lost inches, you'll stay the same weight.
18.5 miles! I'm stumped, I really am! I know it won't feel like it to you, but it seems like you just expanded your capabilities *massively*, all of a sudden. Well done!
And enjoy the cake! I'm going to have some more when I've done a bit of painting.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Hi beanie, help yourself to a piece of Shaun's birthday cake.....
I start work at 8 during the week, and the children start school at the same time, so we are up early for that, then on Saturday they ski early, so the alarm goes off at the same time, and on Sunday they both have paper-rounds to do before they ski, so up early again to fit it in before training......
......hence the reason I am so tired - never any chance for a lie-in!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
You know, Hypno, you are a living inspiration to loads of people on here - tackling your financial situation head on yet still managing to have a life. I hope some of the newer DFWs take note - it is possible, even though things may look black at times. They say exercise is a great stress reliever, but I am too lazy I'm afraid. I have all the honourable intentions there but I can never stick to them. What will you be wearing in the Marathon? Some people wear fancy dress, but it must be hard getting round 26 miles in a banana suit. One life - your life - live it!0

I certainly won't be wearing fancy dress - it will be hard enough as it is! I really do admire those that do it in big bulky costumes though - they have far more stamina than I do!
I too am essentially a lazy person - hence the reason I don't do housework.....busy doing lots and lots of things, but still an underlying laziness factor
As for the dfw/life balance - it is starting to come together, but has become easier as the balance of outstanding debt comes down - the pressure is slightly less each month, and each time an additional payment is made, and that makes a huge huge difference!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hey, you are welcome - it seems to have been such a long time coming that the date was etched on my mind!! I am sure everything will be fine for you. I actually thought that the 17th was tomorrow which is why I popped over to say good luck, then I realised that we are only on the 15th today....d'oh!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
