I am absolutely spent.......and to think that the marathon is another 7.5 miles on top of what I have done this morning.......6 weeks today
I've had a bath, and scoffed a hot cross bun, so hopefully will start to feel human again withing the next few hours
It is beautiful out there - sunshine, flowers, birds singing, and butterflies flitting in and out.......all helped to get me round.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Do you intend to carry on with the running after Marathon Day? Must be a habit now, you would probably get withdrawal symptoms if you stopped. One life - your life - live it!0

I hope to continue - maybe not with the stupidly long weekend runs, but certainly with the 4-10 mile ones. I don't think I will be setting any records in the marathon this year -just to get round will be a victory, so I would quite like to train "properly" for one and do it again in a year or two's time, when I have not had to start from scratch.
I have to admit, though, that with the exception of these really long tough runs, I have quite enjoyed it - a good chance to clear my head after the madness that is my working day!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
