Thanks guys....I have only got a few weeks to go before the marathon now.....it is an exciting yet terrifying prospect!!!

beanie, thanks for looking through the stuff - I had a chat with OH, and we are going to do everything we can to be in a reasonable position if/when it comes in.....and that includes him looking for a different job that pays more and would allow him to drop the excess hours if need be......we shall see!

Still shattered.....my legs certainly feel it now!

5 hrs 18 the first time, and 5 hrs 16 the second time.......I will be extremely happy to get under 5 hours, but really, the aim is just to beat the other times, even if by just a few seconds!

You did well today Hypno...you must be shattered! I take it the new trainers and not giving you gip! Hope you're getting a lie in in the morning but somehow I doubt it! xx

The new trainers are not giving me problems like the last pair.....they are not perfect, but they are a whole lot better, and the old blisters have healed up nicely now.

No such thing as a lay-in in this house.....more's the pity! Plus, the phone rang at 3.15am.....OH work's alarm was going off or something......which woke me, and then took me half an hour to get back to sleep....not good when my alarm goes off at 6 anyway

    Hi Hypno
well done on keeping up with the running but what a pain (literally) to have to invest in new trainers. Not really a way to pare down the cost of those either.

I really hope that you have a good run in the marathon and get your best time ever.

Thanks chev! It was a pain buying new shoes.....but I couldn't have carried on any longer with the old ones, so it was a case of "needs must" really. I think that if I were still using the old ones, I would have had to retire injured by now!

It is sometimes hard to be motivated enough to get out there -I miss Pania not being here to drag me out from time to time! But hopefully I have done enough to get round, and that is all that matters!

20p was my best on the scratchcards today.......

Thanks CG - Although I don't think I will be giving Paula Radcliffe anything to worry about just at the moment

I've done one dooyoo review today and will do another later today.....that is about it for MSE type money making :o I am two thirds of the way to my next £50 payout so hopefully will get that before the end of the month.
