Just surfaced after a rather late post-lunch siesta. Shouldn't have splashed out on fish and chips, bit pricey and a bit heavy on the innards but it was nice. Definitely something light for evening meal methinks. Work tomorrow, up at 0600, but then two days off to recover. My ex-bankers phoned yet again at 0815 today, another of those foreign call-centre jobs with a dodgy connection which was lost before he had a chance to say the bank's full name. Sometimes the gods are with us............

So, your sofa didn't have one of its friendly chats today then?!

I had cheesy chips after my run for lunch, and having pizza for dinner - carb loading (or that's my excuse anyway!!).

The sofa is feeling quite lonely at present, no calls for a couple of days - must be something to do with the complaint letter, or the ombudsman letter I sent. Am in process of sorting out IVA, creditors meeting end of this month so probably that's why bank a bit quieter? Who cares, I am sure they have other customers they can ring at stupid times of day and hassle, only to be told what they knpw already......grrr I feel a grumpy old woman thing coming on again.......chill, woman, chill!!

2 hours 56 mins, which included a stop in a travel agents to ask for my water bottle to be refilled......so I am very pleased with that! If I continued at the same pace for the extra 10 miles, it would bring me in at about 4 hours 50......
