The marathon is 10 weeks today - 26th April, but I have just been given the news that I can't run for a week. So I am starting to panic. There are 10 weeks, and you are not supposed to do anything too much in the last week, so that is 9 weeks of running, but I have a week skiing, so that is 8 weeks, and now I have a week out because of the bloody blisters, and so that is only 7 weeks training available to me.

I have got up to 14 miles in training, but that is still 12 miles short of the marathon!

I started in October, and did 14 miles at the beginning of February, so not too bad at all, really - I just want to be able to do more!

Well done on doing the race today...hopefully a week of not running will sort out your blisters! Did you speak to someone at Scoll (sp?). Quick healing blister vibes for you! Can you do some other training instead of running (cycling? swimming?). Good luck xx

I've just asked on the running thread, what I should do this week.....As long as I get sorted, I don't mind, really. Why is life never simple
