I've just read "boy in the striped pyjamas" - excellent book but you can read it in a day, so be warned!

I am now reading the latest Kate Mosse - takes time to get into it but am getting there!

DS woke up and decided to go to school, so migraine is obviously better - I was amazed when he rang me to say he felt better, and if he hurried he could be at school by 11.....I would have taken the "duvet on the sofa" option myself :o

  • I liked her Labyrinthe book. Amazed at DS all of mine would have taken a duvet day given the chance..lol

Perhaps he was worried once he said he felt better, that you might suggest a few "housework" tasks for him :rotfl:

Or utilise his cooking skills (I seem to remember you said he enjoyed cooking or was it the only way he got fed if he cooked it :rotfl: ) & get him MSE meal planning for the rest of the month.

Kept myself positive today, even though the letter from work arrived. They enclosed my sick note, so I can send it to ESA. Just waiting for them to send me the appropriate paperwork.
Glad DS is better Hypno, mine would have taken the duvet day!. Infact he did yesterday.!
I have started to knit with carrier bags,:D not sure if it will work, but got so many bags from Mr A delivery I wanted to do something with them.!

evening guys - am glad to be home after one of "those" days at work......everyone ringing up asking why we didn't sell their bank shares 5 years ago.......yeah, great, hindsight is a wonderful thing.....why didn't YOU sell YOUR bank shares 5 years ago.......?????

Or the other question....."when will they go back up".....and if I knew the answer to that.........

Ah well, another couple of dooyoo reviews done, and no personal financial disasters, so that is all good.

Hope you have all had a good day.......knitting with carrier bags and everything!
