Gailey, with comping mud sticks so the more you can enter the more chance you have of winning! When I was winning loads I would enter 1000+ per week!!! Saying that, ive not won hardly anything since last summer, its the luck of the draw really but if you keep entering you will get lucky one day! Or thats what I keep telling myself!
I'm slowly working myself up to entering more again but my motivation seems to have gone i'm spending too much time on this site of late! x
compingirl x
you enter 1000 a week did you mean 100?
I was aiming to enter 100 a week 5400 a month and hope that improves my chnaces but its impossible to work out the odds as its not 1 in 400 chance as each competion depends how many enter.
Im not normall lucky person but mate entereed afew and in week won lots weird innit..
Hypno my dooyoo up to 1750 now am surprised did you get chance to read my reveiws? were they comprehensive enough?
I do spent lots of time on computer as everything involves money means being online got new ebay sytrategy for 2009 reach for the stars!

The main thing, gailey, is not to stress about whether you have entered enough comps, or checked mystery shopping enough times......it will all come together and you cannot rely on any of these - far better to see them all as useful extras that if they come good are a nice bonus!
There is a danger with any of these that you spend hours and hours for very little reward, when you could have done something far more productive instead......
Here speaks the voice of someone who is an excellent internet based procrastinator - I can spend hours doing 50p's worth of reviewing, and yet I could go and get a reflexology client that pays over £30 for an hour instead.........!!!
It is a case of getting the balance right, and we all know that is a difficult thing to do!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hi Gailey,
yes 1000 per week! Not at the moment tho' I have a laptop and do it when we are all watching tv of an evening. 1 eye on tv 1 on computer! I'm sure we all do it lol!
I enter daily comps first then all the ones finishing soon then write all my postcard comps. If its something I really want I will take the time to track down an entry form for it. I'm a member of 2 comping websites and all the comps are listed so its straight forward and if you can use a form filler it takes a lot of the work out of it. There is no fixed amount to do, some weeks more than others and end of the month there are always hundreds to do.
As I said, ive got out of the habit a bit but am trying to get back in it now. Nothing is guaranteed but some people are super lucky and win vast amounts every month!! others don't! I had 2 really lucky years but then last year nothing much at all and I haven't changed anything I do differently its just luck of the draw. I never used it as a way to make extra money - it's not that precise - but when you do win something its a real thrill, especially if its something money can't buy!
I agree with hypno, you have to get the balance right, its whatever works for you
good luck! compingirl xCC Debt: Jan 10 £21,660 now £8,170 hurrah!0 -
