DT - Grr to all things barclaycard related! I used to have one of those but got rid long since. I am glad I only have my loans left, but they give me enough grief! Talking of which, I got a letter from Egg at the weekend saying they are STILL investigating my complaint - how long does it take for goodness sake!

Re blisters - have just been and bought some plasters and some iodine - so expecting to have yellow feet later this evening.......it has gone from being impressive because the blisters are so big, to being misery-creating! It is not fun any more!

I've not had my qype email, but DD has, so at least one of us should get something!

Have got DS off to Swansea and have already blitzed his bedroom !!!!

DD has got her portfolio submitted to Nottingham Trent and has an interview next week !!!!

Just thought I'd grab 5 mins before going onto next job.

Hope the blisters heal quickly Hypno

Ouch again to the blisters Hypno, I don't suppose you'll be able to run until they've settled down, are you going to do something else instead - cycle or swim perhaps ?

I haven't been up to much today, apart from getting wet on my walk & mooching about on the net, going to see one of the recruitment agencies tomorrow to "discuss possibilities" as they put it :rotfl:so I'll see what that brings.

    Nasty blisters! Do take care.

I ended up with bunions from blisters which I'd drained but which then re-filled and became infected. Took 2 or 3 courses of anti-bi's to get rid of the infection but the bone had enlarged by then. Was told I should have cut skin away to prevent the blisters re-inflating. Sounds a bit crude so maybe the advice wld be different now.

Ewww verbatim, that sounds awful! Hopefully the iodine I have bought will stop any infection.

Inky, yes I could do something else.....I toyed with the idea of cycling, but have decided that slobbing on the sofa might be the best way forward :o Good luck with the recruitment agencies!

Surfbabe - it is all "go" in your household!

I have just ordered my first £50 from dooyoo - that should be with me in 10 days, so another box can be coloured in by the end of the month :T

Slobbing on the sofa is the New running-Haven't you heard ? :)
Seriously far better to heal than to struggle on and make it worse-you won't want to mess with your training schedule closer to the Marathon-you still have the time at the moment

That's what I reckon, duchy - I have 15 weeks to go, so a couple of days to sort out my feet is really a no-brainer!

    Frustrating though.........
