boddy, sounds like the new job might be a nice change. They do say a change is as good as a rest. I am sure you'll have it spick and span in no time with all your flylady skills.
Michelle, what a great suggestion, nomnomnom could just eat that now but got soup as DP wanted soup (he's got man flu) I have some fab sausages in the freezer :D and a squillion eggs. I'll have to search for chilli pancakes as I have never heard of those :o Hope tonights better and the littlies get some much needed rest, so that you can too x
Mudbath ((hugs)) no planning allowed....just rest!
kazw been thinking of you all, hoping time heals x

Have been feeling guilty about younger dog not getting as much exercise as walks have been kept shorter for Megan, he does run off lead on most of them so does 10 times what we do, much to my suprise after mentioning it to DP he took him out tonight, must be the second time he's took him out since we moved here!

Megan had a rough day physically, she's fell quite a lot, but no accidents thankfully, keeping absolutely everything out of her reach that I think she might try to shred, she doesn't touch house stuff it's things like paper, packets, the kids books etc, she makes me giggle when she lays down because it seems like she just lets her legs go and thuds to the floor. Bless her. She's happily trying to eat a chewy bone at the mo, lack of many teeth makes it tricky, but god help the other one if he tries to steal it. She does steal his and then hides it under her for later, cheeky minx.
One day I might be more organised...........

  • hello spam.jam its nice to have you on board. great time to start and it will make the mayhem at christmas easier to deal with if you get to grips with things now.
you are very welcome. Dont go mad in your first week - if you achieve level one every day that will be brilliant and next week it will be easier to do a bit more A new room is added every day by our illustrious leader and you do it to whatever level you can manage. Post what you have done and not what you havent - there is no such thing as failure on this thread. remember - baby steps - dont try to do the whole house at once. Your house didnt get in a mess overnight so dont expect it to get tidy in a day!The support on here is brilliant
the thread is growing in popularity so it does get difficult to keep up if you are busy.

welcome to the very madhouse!!!!:D :D:D
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

It looks as if it has been busy, and a bit of an emotional rollercoaster since I last dropped in.

So hugs and positive vibes to those who need them, whether you think you do or not. Congratulations to those with good news and achievements, and good luck to those with challenges ahead.

My utility room looks like it might be finished soon! There's just the problem of how to insulate the ceiling, which doesn't look any nearer getting solved... It will be lovely when its done, and then I'll have no excuse not to keep the house spotless at all times.

I should be unloading and reloading the DW, writing a couple of Christmas cards (including to my godfather's daughter who has just had a major brain op after an aneurism burst somewhere really inaccessible near the brain stem...), putting a cheque in the post for the rights issue for Centrica shares, tidying up and getting ready for work tomorrow...

    BUT

... I've just been seeing the emails going past, and yet another IDIOT has completely mis-understood the concept of commercial confidentiality, customer/supplier relationships and it looks like I'm now going to spend tomorrow trying to get the person responsible to understand how they got into the mess and what they need to do to sort it out (them, not me), plus briefing the lawyers so they can advise strategy.

Why do people do these things?!

Hopefully I'll catch up properly at the weekend... (oh yes, and I've got a cold, but I'm FAR too busy!)

OK who hid it????? Who hid the chap stick, my lips are sore and I can't find it. Must be in that safe place!

That safe place also has life's pause button and my friends pencil sharpener so if you find your chapstick can you check for them too? :rotfl::rotfl:

lil_me Its a lovely change and no stress. One of the ladies has a cat and someone got the wrong cat food for it. So the lady and the manager said I could have it for Jake. I felt awful but am going to get the lady some bird food for the garden. Have sounded out the manager bout staying on as someone leaving but she really needs a driver. I do miss the clients and staff from my home base but not the stress and hassle.

    Hiya
Hope you're all ok. I've been working, cleaning and packing all day and finished off with the school play. I'm going to have a small glass of wine and a bath and then hope to get some sleep. I just wanted to say thankyou to you all for your kindness and support and I'll look forward to [strike]gassing away [/strike] formulating plans for successful flying once i'm feeling a bit more human. Hugs to you all xx

Mudders - hun - will be thinking of you over the next week or so. Do let us know when you're back - but only when you're ready.
