greenbee 10 years is a long time for a mattess to be fair, I have a silent night one, this one seems fine but the last one we had issues with, this ones a replacement, it went boat shaped. I have a memory foam topper on which I love. I think if I was going for a new mattress I'd buy a memory foam one. Beds, there will probably be some nice ones in the January sales too, might be worth holding out? I'd like a Kensington off there, or something similar, because I like beds with 2 ends....but DP is too tall so I can't have one :( Oh and iron pillow cases, are you mad??!!!
PF hope your DH is ok, mines the same which is why I knew he was ill on Saturday as he took the night off, hope work goes ok too, never know there might be a whole transformation (might be flying pigs too but think positive!!)
Gryfon I always buy more storage before Xmas day so everything has somewhere to go, even if they sit empty for a few days first
pigpen hope the presentation goes well!
    mumoffour77 ((big hugs))
    boddy hope lunch went ok
michelle ((hugs)) hope your hand is, your ankle too, I remember you commenting that I must be tired when I was being clumsy like that!

Meeting went quite well, a lot done, some interesting conversations, will have to see what the next one brings.

Postman came while I was out, card through with PACKETS x 4 too big for postbox, written in big letters, redelivery sorted, must be more FL cards.

Argh up to page 8 but DPs out and I need to dash for DS2 then back to be in for DS1, he's gone with his mother to get boys presents, I wonder if she'll get them a birthday card this year too, they have never had a card from her.....as long as she doesn't plan being here too much I don't mind.
One day I might be more organised...........

Thank you.. and to everyone else too.. it is finished now and sent to hubby to print for me.. IF he gets chance.. otherwise I'll be scooting off to my mothers to print before I go to college.. Actually.. I may just do that seeing as hubby is stuck in Goole and the train station here is being evacuated due to a bomb scare or something equally silly...

And as useless as I think she is as a tutor to lose her dad anytime is not nice but just before christmas is awful... :(

Glad it's done... :j and think you're right about getting it printed out of the way... everywhere is a nightmare at the moment - took me 45 minutes to take DS to college this morning for a 5 min drive...

Really feel for your tutor - lost my dad suddenly 4 days before my two were christened... like you say, bad at any time but at Christmas it is awful, my prayers are with her and her family... :A

  • I have a memory foam mattress - my old mattress was a hand-me-down from my ex SIL and goodness knows how old it was. The OT thought a memory foam would be good for me and my muscle problems and I slept on one at a friends house for a couple of nights and had no aches and pains at all so I got one about 2 years ago - it wasnt a very dear one- I think it was worth it.

Thanks toots, big millstone round my neck finally gone... that will be my new year resolution I think, just do paperwork and get it done and finished, coz it is soooo draining sitting thinking about it rather than just doing it.. if you see me with any paperwork on my list, please nag me...:o

Sorry Hun, that might be me.. it did seem pretty big and it definitely wouldn't fit through a letterbox...

 Vaguely here! Have my boxes but I'll do those later when it's dark. At the moment about to venture into the driveway and clear the drive of wood. If Mr G can't be bothered then I'll just have to do it!
