    forgot to say if I keep my job then I should be getting a bonus in March - that is if I qualify for it. I need a score of 3 from my pdp to qualify for that and a pay rise. That should be £300 ish after tax, if I have enough aside for my uni fees then I will use this for debt payments.

    Also I don't have holidays every year, I know it looks like I'm trying to live like I have no debt but I'm not after this £200 I still ned I will throw everything at my debt.

    I haven't use my credit cards for years, I couldn't if I tried.

    all trips are holidays, will not be doing LA and NY in Nov is family. I pay of it with what I have left after my bills.

    NY trip = only £200 more needed.
    Theatre = 4 shows - max £30 a ticket.
    Skating lessons = £40 for 6 weeks course only term time prop around £160.
    Web = £20 a month - £240.

    I suppose I could just eat, sleep & work for a year.

    I am not having a go, sorry if it seems so: I am just challenging you a little! My SoA is on my diary and you are welcome over anytime to critique! The reason I ask how much you spend in a year on these is that once I did the same for my bits and bobs I realised it was an awful lot - I spent £600 on Amazon last year for example. :o So this year I am cutting down, and working on cashback and surveys to get vouchers.

    If you do calcuate the cost annually then factor in all expenditure - travel to the theatre and skating lessons and equipment etc. If you are still happy after you have worked it all out then you will know it is worth it. I am in no way saying give them all up (or give any up), just to make sure you are spending the money with your eyes wide open.

    no spend day for me so far took no money to work with my and took in food from home.

    got to work to see an email from the Open Uni saying that my SLC grant has been sent back by TSB and they now have my correct bank details. In a way I didn't mind it going to TSB as it paid off one creditor but it's better coming to me I think.

    So I went onto the SLC site today to check my account and it's all changed. I can log in and now view my loan balance which I couldn't before but there is no sign of my grants, very strange.
    Any way of contacting them other than the phone?

    I had my loan in 2002 around £3133 and it's only gone down by £594 (not including this tax year) I started repaying in Dec 2003 for 7 months (was on £16k) stopped for a year (was on £11k) and from June 2005 I have been paying (on £17k +)

    HR, well it was agreed on between my boss and department boss I guess.
    I don't know what to say in the interview, the evidence is there that I made mistakes
