Short Term Car Insurance

I was made redundant a few weeks ago, so I didn't renew my car insurance when it expired. I've just slipped on the ice while cycling and broken a wheel, so now I need insurance for a day to take the broken wheel to a repair shop!

Where can I find a comparison site for short term insurance? There seem to be lots of providers, but each one requires a lengthy form to provide a quote.

Too far to walk, and public transport would take even longer.

It's not the time it takes to fill out one form which is a problem, if I want to compare 50 insurers, I'll have to fill out 50 of them!

Sorry - just seen you were looking to compare prices.

As it's only for a day, presumably it won't be THAT expensive, so the difference between various insurers won't be that vast? If your time is so precious, easiest just to choose one and go with them, and only fill out one form?
