Poor Customer Service from Comet/Currys

Comet sold us a fridge-freezer in August 2008. This lives in an internal garage where an old fridge-freezer quite happily lived for 12 years. On Monday evening this stopped working. My husband telephoned Comet and was told that it was his fault that it wasn't working!!!!!! He spoke to three different members of staff and was met with basically the same answer....Needless to say I will be advising everybody not to go to Comet even if they offer the cheapest deals anywhere.
I have to say that Currys is not much better. Again in August this year I ordered 3 electrical items to be delivered and installed at my mothers new flat. Firstly, the delivery men moaned about the fact the flat was on the first floor, then they refused point blank to install the items even though they had been paid to do so dumpted them in the flat and went!!!!!!!!!! I do, however, have quite a temper and so my mother did warn them that when I found out what had happened I would shout at them! Needless to say, I did. I actually had to threaten them witht the Small Claims Court before they agreed to refund the installation charge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad:
I am beginning to wonder if these two companies send their staff on the same courses as they seem to be surprisingly similar in attitude, the customers are quite obviously an inconvenience!!!!!!!!!!!!!
