Asda Returns Policy

Hi folks.
My daughter bought a suitcase from Asda to go on holiday.
She travelled 6 weeks later.
The zip on the suitcase broke and the case itself had a 'plastic' coating which had peeled off.
It took it back stating it was not fit for purpose and they have refused to refund.
Any positive comments would be much appreciated.

Zips can break on suitcases if they are over-packed, however the fact that the plastic coating peeled off as well suggests that it was a bit of a dud. I find with both Asda and Tesco that stores can have different policies depending on the manager's discretion. Have you tried taking it to a different store?

Also try calling head office. The number is on their website somewhere. I have done this when I knew I was in the right and my local store was wrong. Head Office were very helpful.

I usually deal with tesco and they just take stuff back - no problem....everytime for me
