Sending text to a friend

Hi i'm not technical , could someone explain simply how i send text(theres a page about making xmas cards on this site that i want a friend to read, so how do i do post a link or send email thanks

Go to the address line on your internet browser.
highlight the whole line.
Press Ctrl +C together, or right click and copy
Open a new email, click in the body of the email and press Ctrl + V together, or right click and paste.0
