Anything that's half decent would need a competent mechanic to fit and would probably be specific to the engine type.

All the other stuff is either chav+noise style, or just a resistor that costs 5p sold in a nice little box.

As for other ideas, not sure if you can get a private reg for under £100 these days.

  • What car is it???

Could get him a something from Wicked Art with his model of car on.
  • You could buy an OBDII scanner, if he's into DIY servicing they're very helpful at reading engine codes.

For £100 your not going to get much that will actually improve the power or performance of the vehicle.

The thing i thought would be a good present is to pay for a full detail on his vehicle (think extremely high quality car wash & polish) For a hundred quid you should get a decent service and it will make the car look fantastic.
  • skid pan or race skills teaching

there is not much that you could do to improve performance for 100 thats worth the hastle

    Debt-free and Proud!
Furry Dice and a sun strip that covers half the windscreen will make any ford fiesta do 200mph. Alledgedly.
  • Better brake pads and/or discs as said above. Something like ferodo DS2000 are not a bad buy

Failing that a full kit of filters, plugs, fluids wouldn't hurt.
Always start tuning a car from the best case scenario.

Nice tyre presure guage for economy savings (and tyres of course!!)

Depends a lot on the car of course!
