in Credit cards
Hi all,
I recently heard an advert on my local radio from a company called 'pfc' claiming that if you obtained a credit card before some date in 2007 that you can get the balance wiped out. Too good to be true i thought so I applied on line and got a call several days later. I have 3 credit cards all maxed up and they claim the first card will cost £495 to get wiped out the £175 for any other card, or loans after this.
Is this correct and if so surely it can be done by myself without paying a middle man the administration fee?

Why do so many people look for a get out clause AFTER they spent the bank's money? To put it bluntly If you were happy enough to spend the credit in the first place then you should take responsibility for your debts instead of looking for ways to worm out of paying it back. This board is about helping people who want to pay off thier debts, not for helping people find ways to wriggle out of paying them.Is this correct and if so surely it can be done by myself without paying a middle man the administration fee?
Yes, it can be done by yourself without paying an admin fee - it's called taking responsibility.0 -
Thanks for your reply but obviously there is something in it, otherwise why advertise it??
I know its my responsibility but I have my problemslike everyone else and i'm currently on a DMP to try and sort things, but just heard about this on the radio and decided to look into it. I was just looking for any advice on here about it.0
