Washer/Drier Combi --- vent/condenser

Options
Hi, I need to buy a new washing machine and wonder if anyone can help??
If I buy a washer/drier combined do you need a venting kit (for the tumble drier part) or are they all condenser types??
I cannot seem to find out from any site selling them. perhaps someone who already has one could help me?
Thanks

    Hello florakid

    Welcome to the MSE site.

Do you have space for a washing machine and separate tumble dryer? I've only heard negative comments about washer/dryer machines I'm afraid.

Sorry if that's not what you want to hear.

    Kind Regards

Your absolutely right but you failed to answer the question. All washer/driers i have seen are condensor types.
    Some of the negative comments are;
drier load less than washing load due to small drum.
drier part less efficient because the clothes have a small distance to fall in the drum compared with seperate drier.
can't wash and dry at the same time.
if one breaks you've lost both.
many have damaged clothes such as the hotpoint featured on watchdog.
    Cash ISA rate 6.5% fixed for 2 years. Mortgage rate 0.75% = 5.75% profit on £75K = £4500 per year:j

we had an Indesit washer/drier for 5 years with no problems whatsoever, only got rid due to a baby coming meaning we needed seperates instead. Was quite happy to continue using it otherwise.

And to answer question yes think they are all condensors and the water gets sent out of the machine via the draining pipe, the same pipe as the water is drained during a wash cycle

Thanks to everyone for their help. I to have heard mixed reports about combi's, but I was just about to buy a new condenser tumble drier when my washing maching packed in, so now I need both.
Thanks for clearing up the condenser issue though.
