Virus scanning another pc on Network

Hi I used to use McAfee to virus scan other pcs & laptops connected via a network cable, (haven't progressed to wireless yet!) this option isn't available on the new version of McAfee. Could anyone recommend a virus scanner that has this option, I have read quite a few reviews about virus scanners but none seem to be advertised with this option. Also which virus scanner uses relatively low cpu usage, with a good firewall. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

Without any doubt whatsoever the best AV product bar none is Eset's NOD32.
It's not free but it meets all your requirements (except firewall), including scanning network drives.

Do you have a file called scan32.exe on your PC or a little magnifying glass icon on the bottom right hand corner of the screen, if so, you can use that to scan a mapped drive? What version of Mcafee are you using?Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

I have got the nod32 trial, seems far more thorough than Mcafee, so I will go with that. I
didn't have a magnifying glass. Is there a better software firewall than mcafee?0 -
If you want a free one try ZoneAlarm or Kerio.
If you want to pay a little extra for the best one try Agnetum Outpost.
