    So far today......
    Walked the dog
    Collected leaves in the garden
Half dug the bush up for the freecycle lady to collect later (felt guilty about making her dig it all up on her own) :rotfl:
Pegged the washing out (luckily it was a 30 wash cos a sneaky purple stripey sock had sneaked in with my cream bed linen!!!!! :p )

    I've cleaned the kitchen
About to go and lag the pipes in my loft (before Dad nags me AGAIN)
And also the kettle that stopped working on Thursday, miraculously started working again today - so that has saved the nectar points that I was going to use tomorrow to buy a new one...!
No car journies today - save the petrol.

Sun is shining....it's a lovely day!! xxxx
Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??
Debt Free as of September 2011 :j
    Sealed Pot 2009 number 334 - £100 Saved! yey!!
Sealed Pot 2010 number 334 - £116.51 Saved! Yey!! YIPPEE!!
  • Will be going to work soon to do a second, booked in, commercial job this weekend (about two hours work).
Left the heating off again. It hasn't been used this Winter at all. I live in a very well insulated flat that is on a middle floor.
Went to pay my cash and cheques into my business account (free banking but have to use cashpoint for transactions to achieve this). Felt quite annoyed that all access to Abbey's business accounts are barred till tomorrow. They have been saying for a while that there will be a security upgrade soon but I never saw any mention of no access. I couldn't put cash or cheques in. No problem as I can do it tomorrow. The bit that REALLY got me is that I may have wanted to make a business transaction by cash today. They have MY money in MY account and won't allow me access to it. There have been times recently when I've needed to make a cash draw from the business account to cover DDs about to go out of the personal account (electronic transfer takes at least 24 hours). I have achieved this by withdrawing cash from business and paying into personal over the counter which achieves instant clearance. Sometimes I have literally only been able to do this the day before due to cheques being slow to clear in the business account. As far as I'm aware, there was no advance warning of being unable to access my business account all weekend.
Although I do not need urgent access to cash in my business account, I am severely disgusted that no prior warning appears to have been given. Must be worth al least a grand in compensation for hurt feelings :D .
