But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D
Today I will:
- check online banking
- move some spare cash to savings
- make a loaf in breadmaker
- add some coins to sealed pot
- swim and jacuzzi to use gym membership
- storecupbord meals
- no spend day
- write out rest of xmas cards
- get another bag of stuff ready for chrity shop
- drop off all family pressies at mum's so they can all pick up when they visit saving me petrol and time delivering them all.
Off to take DD to stables now as roads too bad for her scooter, catch up with you all later:D
Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone:D

hi Sophiesmom
I am finally back after two or three weeks without having a computer after my last one blew up. I have missed posting here so much as it keeps me on the straight and narrow and am so pleased to be back here.
Today I will:
Menu plan for two weeks
Sort out my kitchen cupboards
Cook for the next two weeks
Check my online banking
Sort out my budget (I lost all my stuff on my old hard drive - but have now bought a portable hard drive to save everything on lol)
Have a NSD
It's so cold here this morning too, frost everywhere but I love it, doesn't bother me at all. Will be so busy won't even notice the cold lol.
Have a good day everyone
Cheers
Casper

Quite a chirpy Miss P today. Went on a family meal last night and had a fab time without having a drink! Also, have a clear head today so haven't lost a day to a hangover!!
So heres my efforts today:
* About 4 lots of washing at 30'c - will try and airer dry as much as possible
* Check on-line banking
* Offered OH my (smaller) car to take kids home today. Its a 40 mile round trip so saves money if he takes smaller car. I'll use his to go shopping.
* Do some competitions
* Heating off as , although its frost, house is quite warm
* Work out meals for the week
* Take some clothes to clothing bank
* P.A.D Pay £1 off a debt
And thats about it for today!
