MS Outlook Problem

I use Outlook 2002 as my main e-mail prog' and also have ESET Internet security
, which includes anti-spam. Each time that ESET correctly tags a message as being spam and I try and delete it, I get a message saying that Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. I have tried searching MS site and ESET for a solution but no joy yet.
