in It's gone, but was it any good?
hello all, just thought i'd let you all know if you need chocolate presents for xmas, i've heard thorntons are having a 25% off everything in store sale on the 12th, 13th and 14th december.

    I don't think it's in all stores. There was one in my store last weekend, but I missed it. Staff said that this will be in selected stores on certain weekends.
    Hope it's in all stores though.

    definately all thorntons own stores, maybe not franchise or joint ventures.

    can I just add that M&S chocolates are made for them by Thorntons. They have a lovely box for half price (approx 3.75 I believe). Delicious

    Thanks OP - been waiting for this - bought loads on line recently when they had half price and free delivery code - now want to buy just a couple more boxes but don't want to pay £4.95 p &p!!

    Now just have to make sure thats all I buy!

    The M&S half price box was lovely but It's back at fulllprice now, well it was on friday when I was in.

    I can confirm Thorntons in Oxford city centre have 25% off everything today! Didn't have time to go in but there were huge posters in the windows! Will be popping back at lunchtime.
    However, the 3 for 2 has now ended :-( so it is now dearer for anyone wanting to buy 3 items that are the same price! What a shame :-(

    Just to say this isn't on in some franchised stores. Just rang my local Birthdays (Card shop) who have a thorntons area and they said they 'think' it will start on the 15th Dec as their 3 for 2 is still running at the moment xxx
