Blime - JWB is expensive.You ever thought about Arden grange - a lot cheaper and an excellent dry complete food.

Op - if you do go the dry route then I would recommend Arden Grange to yours as well as it does have a tendency to put a few extra pounds on dogs if you dont keep to a strict measure. As for Barf, ask at a decent butchers for chicken carcases,necks, lamb ribs, - they have to pay for the disposal of these bits so should be happy to give them to you for free. Also the pets supermarkets do free flow mince and tripe and look in the freezers for specialoffers and whoopsies on melts, hearts, chickens etc. Thats the only reason i never went over to a complete Barf - the sourcing and storage

Our butcher used to supply us with chicken carcasses, plus bones and necks etc, but these days he doesn't strip the carcasses - he gets the fillets in as is We only have two local butchers, and both do this....we are without a car at the moment.
We still get bones for her every now and then, but it's a competition as several other people use them as well :rotfl:

Yeah, the storage thing. My freezer is full to the rafters at the moment. I may have to look into getting another chest freezer, just for her, and purchase in bulk if that's the way I decide to go.

Funnily enough when I moved thats where my old small chestfreezer went to - a barf feeder
Look on freecycle or cruise the shops for a scratched /damaged one- my last one cost me 50 quid (should have been 99) as it had a huge dent on the side and a scrape - but in the garage who cared

Try NatureDiet, it is a moist food and all natural ingredients. My fussy eater loves it. It's about £1.50 per packet and there's enough in one packet to last a medium sized dog two days.
