No, Microsoft Excel is a different package that comes with Microsoft Office. However Works comes with its own spreadsheet package which will allow you to open or import spreadsheets previously created in Excel.

Works also comes with Works Calendar, Works Database, Works Portfolio, Works Task Launcher, Works Word Processor.

It is just a very cheap basic office package for those that cannot afford Microsoft Office. Perfectly suitable.

Works does come with Excel but a stripped down version.
