I want to size a JPEG to an exact size please
Size is 86mm x 54mm
how if at all can this be done??

cheers for the link.... it would appear though that the resize is done in pixels and not cm or mm's?
I need to get it to the exact size as stated?

It can be done - the 'real world' size is defined by the image's height and width in pixels and the image's 'dots per inch' (or 'dots per mm' if you prefer). Packages such as Paintshop Pro (or the free GIMP) allow you to resize all three of these factors and see the resulting dimensions.0

the jpeg was saved with the following dimensions
1000 x 632 pixels
Guy i am sending it to needs the file saved to an exact size
i just dont know how to do it

If you're using XP then Microsofts own image resizer is probably the easiest. Just right click on the image, choose the resolution and it'll do the business.
